The best onboarding guides users to their first win within minutes. Empty states should explain what happens after the first data is entered.

A short checklist is more effective than a modal tour that gets skipped. Show 3–4 steps, provide progress, and celebrate completion.

'Add your first product' is better than 'Start exploring.' Avoid internal jargon in public UI. Copy must be concrete and action-oriented.

Measure drop-off per step. If many people stop at the second step, fix that step before adding a welcome animation.
